PROFILE
Amanda Muir is a landscape designer who incorporates qualitative and quantitative based research to her design approach with an enhanced focus on project quality and assurance. She is currently conducting field research into the relationship of Native American communities engagement with landscape management and the effect long-standing cultural practices have on the flora and fauna. Her dynamic anthropology background aids in community outreach, client-needs assessments, and contributes a unique sociology and multi-disciplinary approach to landscape and urban design. Amanda lends her rendering skills to our fi rm to conceptualize our projects through her evocative and painterly approach to renderings. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Skidmore College and is planning on applying for her Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture next year.
